Mom Was Probaly Right

Who knew my new T-shirt with Beyond the Bus Stop would light up my day when I wore it to work last night! It had brilliant crystals that sparkled in the light. I was on a crew of mostly men and I was surprised how many of them stopped to ask me what Beyond the Bus Stop was. I am finding the BTBS message is universal. The shirt was a great ice breaker for real dynamic conversation! I listened to childhood memories, thinking that maybe a clue to their Beyond the Bus Stop moment would appear magically! You never know when that a-ha moment takes place. My mother always said "Listen more then you talk, you will learn more this way." I learn a lot from people by working hard to be present when they are speaking. It is not easy for me and I know my kids think I fail at this too often. But, it is truly something to strive for daily and I try to remember it is important to the person who is sharing the moment. They may learn something new about themselves and I know I have learned more this way too. Mom was probably right! These new conversation pieces are now available in our shop.
