You will no longer want to rush meal preparation nor see it as a chore after you hear Desiree's heart felt and witty ideas for nurturing yourself and your family right in your very own kitchen!

Grab a cup of coffee, shakeology, and a pen---I am sure she will share a recipe or two with a twist!

Hello Ladies!
This is the recipe give away the Desiree promised! Enjoy~
Pasta with Prosciutto , Peas & Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Thinking Spring? Think fresh! Think Green--- New life! Think young, fresh PEAS! Nothing is better than Peas with crispy, salty Prosciutto and Pasta! With a glass of crisp White Wine ‘al fresco’….well, it just doesn’t get any better than this! Enjoy!



3 TBS Olive OIL

2 Cloves Fresh Garlic, sliced

5-6 Sun-dried Tomatoes

½ Cup dry White Wine

1-14 oz. can Chicken Broth

1 box Penne Rigate, prepare by package directions

1 small bag of frozen Peas (have fresh? Even better!!!)

Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder to taste (…My Flavor Trinity!)

1 Lemon, zested

Parmesan Cheese, ----Garnish---grated to taste



*Sauté Garlic & Olive Oil until fragrant. Add pieces of Prosciutto and cook until golden brown rendering down all it’s flavor. Deglaze pan with White Wine & Chicken Broth. Add Sun-dried Tomatoes & seasonings to taste. Allow time on heat to marinate.

*In a separate pot, boil pasta to package directions.

(TIP: Reserve some pasta water just in case you need to add some moisture to the finished pasta if it seems dry. Pasta water helps bring it all together because it has some of the pasta starch in it.)

*Combine all ingredients and top with Lemon zest & grated Parmesan Cheese.



Recipe Improv! Fresh, tender Asparagus…another beautiful element of the Spring season. Add instead of Peas (or along with) for a fabulous dish!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my passion on the air waves live! What an inspiration BTBS has been for me. In such a short time the energy of the ladies I have met through our meetings inspired me to carve out "ME" time, get my thoughts down in writing and actually share with others on a radio spot! How fantastic! What a blessing! xo :)
