Some of us mean well when we take action but, often we hit a stopping point and feel like we won't get to our goals. What is holding you back right now?
I couldn't agree with Michelle more, Maureen. I am a bit of an overachiever, but I can say that even when things seem to go the wrong way, hard work and determination leads me to where I want to be. Sometimes it may not be exactly how I had "Flow Charted" it out, but it gets me there. I can say it does involve some relentless perseverance. Most people respect trying and failing much more than not trying at all.
Just life in general. Being a mom to 5 boys often takes over and while I have things that I'd LIKE to do, there just isn't time. But each day is a NEW day and I make the most of it!
I think many can relate to the fear of failure. But if you don't try something you'll never know if you can do it!! If you fall on your face, pick yourself back up --sometimes with the help of friends-- and try again! The struggles that we face will only cause us to learn and grow IF we continue to persevere!! So don't give up, keep fighting and I promise the feelings of accomplishment will be abundant when you achieve what you thought to be the impossible!!

I do know that as hard as I try, it will happen for me one day and that none of my efforts are wasted. I just wish that it would happen soon!
I think many moms can relate to this, Laura. Being a mom of five small boys, keeping up with their activities, maintaining our household and trying to keep the bills paid, I especially know how it can suck up your time. But you have a good outlook in knowing that your efforts are not wasted. It does to take time but one day when we are living our dream we will look back on all the struggles we faced getting there and feel such a sense of accomplishment knowing that we were able to persevere and overcome those struggles!
Well at the begining of July, I turned 30, which got me thinking about the next 10 years, which lead me to this list:

2. Lose 30 pounds (and keep it off)
3. Quit "temporary" job (technically did this yesterday…
