Darla--- we are here for you.....I am sure it was lonely.....but, was the quiet and stillness also a gift?  I know as a busy mom--you are with your kid's all the time while your husband is away for his military schooling....just think....men take this time more often then women.....and the grow in rank, get a raise or advance in someway.  It is a gift I bet for him to have time with his sons and the 'boys' are bonding.  You gave yourself a gift...a gift to have a dream come true, a gift to advance , and a gift for an exciting future....for you and your family.  Your family will be so Proud of you when you reach your goal and graduate.  I am proud of you......call me anytime when you feel that way......we all get lonely at times.....and sometimes when people least expect it.  I feel lonely at times --missing my BTBS friends......thanks for sharing because many can relate.  Suz

I am sorry you felt the loneliness today.  I understand bc my daughter spends christmas eve with her dad so I get to experience it each year.  We have plenty of sacrifices to endure when we are a parent who is going back to school.  It took 4 long years for me to get through this last master's degree but I have to tell you that having my daughter be so proud of mommy for graduating is a priceless feeling!  I have shown her dedication, hard work and sacrifice are worth the end result.  You will also have that feeling so continue the hard work and sacrifice to get there!  You will be glad you did!
