Tell us a little something about yourself.

I am a mom of four kids and a smom of 2 more! My family is a blended family. I prefer smom over stepmom. I have my two SDs full time and stepmom feels so removed. I love my husband, all my kids and my puggle! I love to cook, sew, scrapbook, the outdoors and being silly w/ my kids. I have a true heart for stepmoms and that inspired me to start my site www.cafesmom.com.

What would you like to change or improve?

Since I launched my site in December, I am looking for ways to balance working from home w/ family. My family comes first. Figuring out how to make deadlines, cook a meal, wipe runny noses, take kids to the dentist, etc... all while wearing a smile is a work in progress.

What are your 3 main goals in this area?

To continue to nurture and care for my family
To utilize my education, career background and heart for stepmoms to grow my site. To connect smoms 2 each other.
To network with other mompreneurs

How can others help you to achieve your goals?

Learning from other moms and mompreneurs how they handle different situations is always helpful. I love sharing ideas.

H: What makes me HAPPY?

What makes me happy? Lots of stuff like giggles from my kids; ending the day in my husband's arms; his handsome smile; getting a note from a stepmom about how she's been encouraged by my site; reaching out and connecting with others; writing about my life as a stepmom; my family; and most definately my faith

O: What am I OPTIMISTIC about?

I am optimistic about my family's future. I am optimistic about how many stepmoms and stepmoms I can reach. I am optimistic about making a difference in the lives of my own family and in the lives of many stepfamilies.

T: How am I TAKING ACTION?

I have launched my website www.cafesmom.com and I am reaching out and asking others "What can I do for YOU?"
